Meditation is all about inner peace. Just sit in a comfortable position with your back straight. It is a brain practice to stay calm and letting all the stressful and distracting thoughts float by like clouds.
2. Listen to Music
In stressful situations, listening to music or say listening to relaxing music is a very powerful weapon in one’s pocket to reduce mental pressure. Listening to music in stressful situations can lead to lower blood pressure, and reduce cortisol, a hormone that is linked to stress.
3. Laugh out Loud
There is saying that “A good laugh heals a lot of hurts” as laughter releases endorphins that improve mood and can help in reducing the stress level. Lighten up by reading comics, talking to someone who can make you smile, and watch comedy movies and videos.
4. Eat Right
Eating healthy and stress level are closely related. Whenever we are stressed and highly busy with some work, healthy eating is not an easy habit to maintain. Stress may result in high blood pressure, eating healthy can improve blood flow in a body.
5. Breathe Deeply
Deep breathing counters to be a very helpful process in reducing blood pressure and heart rate. You need to just take 5 minutes break and sit freely and calmly with eyes closed, take a deep breath through the nose, and feel it moving upward to your head. It will help in reducing stress.
6. Keep Moving
In stressful situations apart from stopping yourself make a promise that you will always keep on going with the numbers that the dice of life throws at you. All kinds of exercises like, yoga, running, and walking releases feel-good chemicals, which ultimately helps in reducing stress. So keep going and let yourself win.
7. Talk it out with a friend
When you are stressed take a break and talk to your loved ones as they are the only ones who can make your mood better, sharing the problem with them makes you feel better and reduce your stress. They are the most important part of your life in both good and worse situations, mainly in stress as they are the only ones to whom you want to talk first, talking to them makes you feel better.
8. Sleep Better
When a person is in stress they lose sleep and it is also the key cause of stress. Imbalanced sleep causes your body to perform inadequately and you will only get worse with time. So, turn off the Tv, dim the lights, and give yourself some time to relax before going to bed.
One must adopt all these factors in their lives as all these factors are the most important factors which may help you to get rid from stress and make you lead a happy life ahead.
